Experience Comedy in a Unique Way with MTL Comedy Club
MTL Comedy Club in Montreal is not your normal comedy club. Yes, they have sidesplitting acts and they have had many people soar to the top after starting their journey at this club. However, they have alsoput a unique spin on how they showcase all this talent!
While many comedy clubs simply bring their talent to their club, MTL Comedy Club does not have one specific location. Instead, they travel from venue to venue, bringing the talent with them. This isn’t a once in a blue moon happening either! Nope, they have produced more than one thousand shows in the last three years alone!
Many people may not see the beauty of this business model, but if you look carefully, it makes perfect sense. Some people get bored going to the same location week after week, so the audience could diminish in size most weeks. MTL Comedy Club’s option keeps the audience intrigued, because each venue is some place new or somewhere that they haven’t been in a while.
Almost everyone is up to checking out new venues, seeing what the drinks and food are like, and trying out the ambiance of the spaces. Add in the comedy show and it becomes the familiar amongst the slightly unfamiliar.
Past venues have included the Rialto Theatre, Club Soda, Olympia Theatre, Peroni’s, La P’tit Grenouille, Rosewood, le 1370 Villeray, Hotel Metropolitan, and Brass Door. Those are only a few of the more than one hundred venues that have been chosen by MTL Comedy Club so far and there are many others that could potentially be used in the future.
The venues love the extra publicity, because people are walking through their doors that may not have gone there in the past. This means that those same people may check the venue out again in the future when it is not a comedy night.
If you haven’t been to MTL Comedy Club yet, you might be interested to know that some very famous comedians have graced their stages. A few to mention include Sugar Sammy, Ray Romano, Rondell Sheridan, Aba Atlas, Massimo Cannistraro, and Sebastien Bourgault. In fact, you never know who could show up at the next MTL Comedy Club night!
MTL Comedy Club has changed the world of comedy for the better with their unique venue locations and the comedians that have performed at each one. Check out their next show and see for yourself how comedy has risen to the next level.
